Welcome to the Westport Point United Methodist Church. We are so grateful you are joining us! You are warmly invited to join us for worship or any of our activities and experience God’s grace through our time together. We recognize that people look for God in many ways. So, whether you visit us in person or online, we hope you will discover something here to encourage you in your spiritual journey.
Our hope is to also be a source of God’s grace in our community and beyond through service, outreach, fellowship, spiritual growth, and worship. Therefore, whether you are new or have been part of our church for a while, we hope that you find a home with us and be part of our extended community and church family. With that said, if there is anything, we can do for you please do not hesitate to reach out, as we are always actively seeking a way to be God’s hands and feet in our world.

Meet Pastor SETH
Hello friends,
I am Pastor Seth Fortier. At the Westport Point United Methodist Church, we greet you with open hearts, open minds, and open doors. Ours is a welcoming, nurturing, and serving church community that strives to be a source of God’s grace in the World. Join us as we work together to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ here at Westport Point United Methodist Church on the Seacoast!

About me: I am a native of Guilford, Maine. I attended the University of Maine at Augusta and graduated with a degree in Mental Health and Human Services. I attended seminary at Boston University and graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2020. I am an avid sports enthusiast who loves the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins and that football team whose name got changed. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, learning about history, cooking, and watching the TV show Impractical Jokers when I need a good laugh. Surprisingly, I once was a hard rock music lover who went to many concerts but now enjoy listening to Christian music and attend shows regularly. My favorite artists are Unspoken, Matthew West, and Casting Crowns.

I currently live in historic Westport Point with my wife Alexa, and pets Tommy (cat) and Grace (dog). I am blessed with 2 children and four grandchildren.
I look forward to welcoming you to our church family where no invitation is required, so come as you are.
